Bio
Dan has been fortunate to work around the world: Europe, South East Asia, the United States and Canada on a variety of projects:
Dan Yarhi’s Design Credits include : “Dr Cabbie”, “All Saints Day”, “Between Strangers”, “Love Letters”, “Welcome Home”, and “The Big Town”.
He Art Directed such high-profile projects as Three Men & a Baby, Dolores Claiborne, Cinderella Man, Blues Brothers 2000, Murder at 1600, The Repo Men and Taxi.
Working with such Directors as : Ron Howard, Franklin Schaffner, Taylor Hackford, Sydney Pollack , Harold Becker, Stanley Donen , Michael Crighton, Leonard Nemoy, John Landis, Dwight Little, George McGowan, Bobby Roth, Peter Levin, Tony Charmoli, Jorn Winther, Graeme Clifford, Rob Lieberman, and Miguel Sapochnik.

He also Art Directed: Emily Emily, Stubby Pringles’ Christmas, all for Hallmark Hall of Fame,The Nutcracker with Mikail Barishnikov & The NY City Ballet for PBS.
Born in Cairo of Italian and Sephardic parents he has a working knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish and Arabic. Yarhi lived briefly in Cyprus and Rome with his family before they emigrated to Canada in late 50’s.
While studying pre-law at the University of Toronto, his interest shifted to theatre, where he was designing Stage Sets, and Lighting. During the next five years, he became a "Founding Member" of Factory Lab , and The Tarragon Theatres. Dan also worked at Toronto Workshop Productions, and later at The National Arts Centre in Ottawa. He returned to Toronto in the mid seventies to design the revolving stage at the Ontario Place Forum Theatre, which led to a job in television, at CFTO . There he apprenticed as Art Director to Ben Edwards, and was given the opportunity to design his own shows.
